ITINERARY 1

DAY 1

Arrival at the airport of Athens. Welcome service and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight

DAY 2 Full Day tour of Athens

Breakfast. Visit of the Acropolis site and the awesome temple of Parthenon, the crowning beauty and glory of ancient Athens.
Visit of the New Acropolis Museum, a marvel of architecture, which houses all the portable objects removed from the Acropolis.
Tour to the oldest part of the city, Plaka area with on a “fun train”
Concert.
Dinner and overnight

DAY 3 Full Day tour to Delphi

Breakfast. Visit of Delphi, one of the most important sites of ancient Greece that was considered as the “navel of the earth” and its prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world.
Proceed with a visit of Delphi museum with its spectacular exhibits, including the famous bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos, and the temple of Apollo, ancient god of music and light, famous for its oracle.
Concert.
Dinner and overnight in Athens or Delphi

DAY 4 Full Day tour to Epidaurus

Visit of the site and the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, marvelled for its exceptional acoustics.
Short stop in the town of Nafplio. Possibility to visit Palamidi fortress
On the way back, short stop at the Corinth Canal, which unites the East and West Mediterrannean sea
Concert.
Dinner and overnight in Athens

DAY 5 Breakfast and transfer to the airport.

Transfer to the port for embarkation on the cruise ship operating 3 day cruise to Greek Islands and Turkey. All meals and drinks are included.

Today’s ports of call: Kusadasi (Turkey) and Patmos island

Day 6 Half Day tour to Cape Sounio

Breakfast.
Tour to Cape Sounio including a visit of the Temple of Poseidon, the ancient god of Sea.
The sunset from Sounion with the magnificent views and unique colors of the Aegean, is one of the most spectacular in the world

Visit of Mycenae, the birth place of the Mycenaean civilization. Mycenae was one of the major Greek cities of the 2nd millennium B.C.
Proceed with a visit to Epidaurus where you can admire the ancient theatre, marvelled for its exceptional acoustics.
On the way back, short stop at the Corinth Canal, that unites the East and West Mediterranean sea

Day 4 Mykonos

Transfer to the port for embarkation on the cruise ship operating 4 day cruise to Greek Islands and Turkey. All meals and drinks are included.

1st option: One day cruise to 3 islands Hydra, Poros and Aegina.
Breakfast at hotel.

Hydra island. Very picturesque and favourite retreat of the international jet-set. No cars allowed.
Poros island. The American writer Henry Miller wrote: “…suddenly I realized that we were sailing through the streets…”. This island was believed to be the island of the god of the sea, Poseidon
Aegina island. The closest island to Athens. Option for swimming or visit the ancient temple of Aphaia, dedicated to the homonymous goddess. It is thought that the first coinage to the western world was introduced in Aegina
